Karen and I visited Lilo today at the Referral Center. We didn't take a picture, but she has a pretty decent size kennel with comfy blankets to lay on. I think Lilo may be improving slightly. She seems brighter, but exhausted. She drank water when we arrived but didn't eat. We petted her for about 45 minutes. I would have stayed longer if I didn't have class tonight. But it's very nice that they let us stand there for so long.
Lilo's RBC count went back up a bit, so they decided against a plasma transfusion yesterday. We'll see how things are tomorrow. I'm hoping she can come home, if not, we'll go visit her again.
There are two other shih tzu there. And a medium-large size dog just had a brain surgery, there's gotta be 15 staples on his skull, scary!
