He was found as stray in WV. His hair was matted and had to be shaved down, he had fleas and skin problems. He was estimated to be about 1 year old, and surely had a tough start in life! He was adopted out and returned. He had so many interests in him but not one was a good fit. That was until two weeks ago. This amazing family applied with MMR. They came by to visit Pumpkin last week. Surprisingly, not a bark out of his mouth when I let Pumpkin into the living room to meet everyone. We met with other potential adopters before and Pumpkin spent at least 30 minutes barking, if not more. I truly believe, as much as people look around for the right dog, dogs do the same too. Pumpkin must know they are the one!
The adoption took place this past Friday and the family renamed him to Stanley. Congrats Stanley! You're finally living the life you so very much deserved. I know both Lilo and Gizmo miss you. They didn't have much of an appetite for the past two days.
